This week's topic on Top 2 Tuesday is favorite dates. Chris and I don't do much very often. We are more homebodies. We'd much rather cuddle up to a movie on our own couch. But we have had some pretty fantastic dates.
1. Birthday Picnic - April 30, 2005
Chris can be pretty romantic when he wants to be and this was one of my favorite memories with Christopher. I had actaully taken of work for my birthday that year. Chris told me that he had something planned. He picked me up just before lunch and took me out some dirt road. After he parked the car, we walked down a little path to a little deck overlooking a lake. On the deck was he perfect picnic laid out. Chris made my favorite meal (with granny's help, of course). This was actually supposed to be my proposal (which would have made it that much better) BUT my ring wasn't ready for pick up yet.
2. Bowling - Just about anytime
Bowling is actually something that we try to do on a regular basis. It is cheap and we can always find people to go with us. I'm terrible at it, but that makes it all the more fun.
